Not only is powder coating itself much more environmentally friendly than spray painting (up to 98% of the powder is used or recycled), but this new line also feature a permanent, no rinse, non-heated pretreatment with no effluent stream or wastewater treatment demands. Envirotec” prep was designed to replace iron and zing phosphates, zirconium, and chromate in the Pre-treatment process. It contain no phosphates, metals, or VOC, and is completely biodegradable. Also an added benefit, it can be used on ferrous and non ferrous metals, and leave a microfilm that promotes adhesion and prevent flash rusting. In addition to the line, we have also added a powder coating lab to ensure that we meet stringent customer specifications for durability and gloss.
